Children Remind Us to Love

Have you ever wondered about the importance of all children?

They are here to heal and reveal where we need healing. They are here to help us recognize what we have forgotten. They are here to show us how to remember the art of play. They imitate our words and our actions, both kind and unkind.

Naturally….. They see beyond what we see. They dream and imagine. They explore and delight. They trust and are free to be.

Until … We tame them. We rein them in. We procreate and then domesticate. We have hope and fears for their future, while we often neglect our own.

We struggle and forget to play. They play and learn to struggle. We treat them like servants or privileged royalty, but may forget they are of equal importance. We dump our toxic emotions hoping they will learn to never dump theirs on us.

Some parents remember that each child is precious, a gift of Love. Some parents spend quality time daily to connect, nurture and nourish the remembrance of Love. Some people see the innocent Light of Good in every child and offer their own in return. Some people realize every child is here with a purpose and deserves the best education and guidance.

Some see our children as our legacy, our investment in the future. Some know each child is an out-picturing, a projection of the parents’ unconscious beliefs and emotions. Some realize children are the unadulterated version of the Creator, unlimited in potential and Love. Some recognize every child’s gifts are a treasure of Healing, Goodness and Beauty to be treasured.

Let us never dim their Light. Let us not teach them not to Love. Let us learn from them how to remember our Purpose here. Let us awaken in ourselves the ability to play, to create, to heal and choose only to be happy.

Love yourself as much as your cherished children. Free your potential as you want your children to be fulfilled. Give to yourself the greatest gifts of all …time and space to be free. Trust yourself with the best and you will always give your children the best you know.
